Enduro3

Here goes another story about Enduro3, an Adventure race in Pune, India.

We always practiced in the NDA campus. We saw deer, peacoks and alot of wildlife. During the race, when participants see deer running besides them they just want to stop the competition and enjoy Mother Nature.

The best part about the Adventure race is the well designed route. We are just so close to Nature. Trees whistling, the wind blowing, it all looks like a dream. Yes the day's are a little hot, but that’s only when we have to go upslope, down slope on our bike is another experience. Imagine yourself whizzing down at an amazing speed.

Drinking the pure water from Panshet Dam, sleeping at night in star lit skies is a dream come true for an adventurer. After cycling for 100kms, the sleep at night in a sleeping bag is even more comforting than on a soft mattress in an air conditioned room. We even dream of all the tough times we faced, the way we pulled ourselves, cheering our team mates. A sense of achievement grips us for a long time even after the race.

I love Enduro3 for bringing close to Nature, strengthening my determination and giving me life long friends. So do you feel like experiencing all this?

Write to me on Mansi@sportzvillage.com for further information on 2008 Enduro3 organized on 8 and 9th of February 2008.

you must be from organizing team or from defense, as others are not allowed to practice inside NDA campus,

We have also seen deer, snakes while practicing near peacock bay.

Hi Mansi

Am rohan ... had met u at the NDA awards ceremony ... Congrats again for topping the Amateur Mix !! We managed to complete the amateur mix race in 32 hours ... that itself was a big achievement for us considering all of us were from non sporting backgrnd and we just had 2 weeks of practice. But next year ... with better practice will definitely try to win something. Do post ur experiences of this year's race ...
